Where is the Transparency??

"Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river." -- Nakita Khrushchev

When President Obama, took office last month, he promised a new transparency in his administration. Which included having new legislation on the Internet 48 hours before congress was to vote on it.

That was not the case with this massive stimulus package. It was not posted until it had been through both houses of congress. Yes it is available now online. Most extreme left wing sites have it posted and call it the greatest thing since Obama winning the White House.

Yes, dear reader, just for you, I am carefully studying this 1100 page document to see what is so great and what is not so great.

Now another thing that really concerns me is. President Obama stated that this was an emergency and this legislation needed passage sooner rather than later. The President had the bill ready for his signature on Saturday morning. Where was he? Was he at his desk with pen in hand ready to sign his baby into law? Nope, he was in Chicago, shooting hoops and having a romantic dinner with his wife. Did he sign it into law upon his return to the White House, nope, he waited til Tuesday to sign the "life saving" boost for our dire economy.

So Mr. President, I ask, Where is this new transparency we so greatly heard about one month ago??
